Honestly, it has been too beautiful outside to stay inside of the house. After I walked 1&1/2 hours, I decided to bring everything I needed outside.

Was it supposed to catch on fire? I don't know but I do know that the steaks turned out to be delicious. As long as you sort of follow Ree's directions, you can't go wrong. The blue cheese sauce that goes with this was awesome, too!!

Sewing is actually my first love. However, it has taken a back seat to learning photography these last few years. Quilting is more my specialty but with my new weight loss, I've had to become a seamstress. This particular day, I had to take in the waist of several new pants and capris.

This is my lovey friend Lori. She's always willing to jump into my P-365 shots when asked. This night, I met up with her and another friend. We had dinner at a local Mexican Restaurant.

These are Couch Surfers who stayed with me 2 days. They were at the end of a 50 state tour. Cool people!

My girlfriend loaned me her grandsons. They visited when I had Couch Surfers in town. They made oatmeal cookies from scratch. The boys did an excellent job and they worked well together,

I've been Couch Surfing and hosting for 3 years now. I've always been the luckiest host who gets the best surfers at my house. Lynn stayed for 1 night. I took her to my favorite place in W.V. We had the best conversations about life and travel. Had a great Vietnamese meal and then called it a night.
She works for Doctors without Borders and is about to go on assignment in Haiti for 6 months! She's truely a wonderful woman.

A much needed break from what I call "demolishing" the yard. I have been working my butt off and breaking my back to get my yard in shape for 2010.
Since the registered sex offender died next door, I've decided that now would be a great time to cut down all of the wannabe shubs and junk that divide our property line. Nobody lives there and nobody will realize that they are missing, hehe. My yard is starting to look better already.

I had the WHOLE day to myself and somehow, I managed to wait until the last minute to get my shot. It looks like Mr. Bug is about to shake his groove thang to the Bokeh City Lights.
