Baby, it's cold outside. Something tells me that I won't be venturing out there today.

29/365

Just me and my eye(s). I'm tired of the snow and cold weather. Just thought I'd mention that in case anyone else knows what I mean.

Pieces of a vintage china set. I bought the set at a local antique shop a few years ago. It's very delicate, I love it.

I actually made it outside during daylight hours! Woohoo! This week is B&W conversion week, for me. This is just a yard ornament that I bought from the Dollar Tree a few years ago. It gets more rusty each year but I still love it!

Child's vanity set. Brown tone conversion.

25/365

Me Monday combined with my Black and White conversion week. Whew, this set up and post processing was hard for me. I know this image isn't that great but I have 50 something more weeks to get better at this! I think I feel rushed because this was supposed to be yesterday's project and today, it's already late in the evening. I can't wait for it to stay daylight outside longer. I hope to have the freedom to be more creative with these when I can get outside.

No post for today

I'll post my Me Monday on Tuesday.

I like them dirty and rusty.

22/365

All I can say is that Photoshop CS4 is very lucky tonight. I wish I knew how long it took me to start over again and again. CS4 kept shutting down on me, grrrr. Finally, I checked updates and updated Adobe Reader. I guess that has something to do with CS4????

Anyway, the photo is not really edited like I would have wanted because this was like my 7th time trying! Anyway, I found some train tracks and I was really happy with that. Stayed there for a long time trying to get ideas for my project. When I was almost done, a railroad worker made his way down to my neck of the woods. He let me know that my tripod was smack dab in the middle of a live track. Oppps! He was nice enough to let me know which tracks were not being used. He said that he's supposed to report these kind of things. I said "report me" with a smile. I was sort of kidding. He said that he wouldn't call the railroad police, lol. I already know that the tracks are private property but I never let on. And, oh, I will go back because I like trains, metal, dirty rusty metal and places I should not got to :)

Week 4 Theme....Black & White Conversions

I hope everyone has had a lovely week. I can't complain, just happy that it's the weekend. I will post my 22/365 tomorrow. I must get to bed early tonight because I have been spending way too much time online, lately. Looking at what, you ask? Well, all of your P-365 blogs and the P-365 Flickr streams. So, I am tired and will return tomorrow with something worthwhile to post:) Hope the rain stops because it has seriously impaired my outdoor shootings! Boooo, to the rain.

I can't decide which is more tragic, that fact that the picture is so blurry or the fact that I'm wearing purple polish at my age. I'm very tired tonight and only my point and shoot is available. Sorry about the bad work.

I get off of work at 3:00pm. Today, time seemed to pass so slowly. I thought that I would never get out of that place.

It's Monday again. That means that it's "try to not look so stupid in picture day". Hmmmm, I love a good cuppa every day of the week. Drinking Indian Chai tea today. Let's not forget, I love me some Scott Kelby.

I know, I know, this is not a part of my theme but it's been raining out all day. I snapped this when I left the gym. I was already wet from the gym to the car so I thought, what the heck, get this car and be on your way.

A monster has been created....well, two monsters

Wendy (Wenderful), thanks for turning me onto cloning!

16/365

Well, try, try, try again. This is ok but not what I'm looking for. See that long red streak, that's a set of tail lights. I still want the car to be visible, though.

15/365

Ok, so, this is my first try and I really didn't get any red streaks like I wanted. There's always tomorrow and the next day:) Shhh, let's not even mention the noise in these pictures, lol.

Week 3 Theme....Night Shots

I really love photos of cars racing by at night. All you can see is the trail of their red break lights. That's what I'm going to try accomplish this week. So, my butt will be outside every night this week trying to improve these skills. If anyone has any suggestions or constructive critique, please let me know. It's cold outside and I don't want to be out there longer than I have to :)

This is my scrapbooking crew, bye.....

Farewell pens and markers........

Week 2 Theme....Scrapbooking

I just got back from an overnight scrapbook crop. So, I'll make scrapbooking my theme for the week. Not because I LOVE to scrapbook but because I am retiring from the craft. I use to think that I really enjoyed scrapping but to be honest, I think I only LOVED to buy the paper and supplies. Seriously, I am just realizing this. My heart is with other things like quilting, other handy crafts, learning Spanish and photography. I will always love my scrap supplies but will no longer be using them. I just might look at them and touch them every once in a while, for now.

Me Monday

Well, I have already forgotten my own rules! It's Me Monday, lol. Oh well, maybe next week. By the time I got home from the gym tonight, I didn't even want to look at sweaty old me! I still got a "Me Monday" in a way, I spent 1&1/2 hour at the gym all by myself absorbed in my own thoughts. I really needed that. Who else did a self portrait today?

4/365

I chose this sign because it is so imperfect. I like how the letters are about to fall off.

It was too cold outside to go any further than my own yard.

Assigning Themes

For my P-365, I will be using weekly themes. This will help me become a bit more organized and efficient. So, this weeks theme is signs. Any kind goes.

So far, I'm on schedule......

Hello and Welcome 2010

"The object of a New Year is not that we should have a new year. It is that we should have a new soul and a new nose; new feet, a new backbone, new ears, and new eyes. Unless a man starts afresh about things, he will certainly do nothing effective."-G.K. Chesterton
